“Have nothing in your house that you do not know to be useful, or believe to be beautiful.” William Morris

I am a ceramic artist and I have returned to my childhood home in rural Latvia to set-up a studio to create some mindful ceramics for people who love good food and good beverages and want their experience enhanced by wholesome tableware. Each piece here has been handmade on the wheel and cradled through many processes. I use both English porcelain and my local Latvian earthenware clay. I want to restore the balance of unique items against the mass produced that surrounds us. With lots of tea and trees all around, I am growing more dill and skill day by day! My aim is to make good tableware that brings a little quiet beauty into your everyday life. I hope you enjoy using them as much as I enjoy making them.
